Insert your hook into the stitch.
Yarn over and pull through (you’ll have 2 loops on your hook).
Yarn over again and pull through both loops.

Crochet Tips

Start with light-colored yarn. It’s easier to see your stitches clearly, which helps while you're still learning where to insert your hook.
Choose the right hook size. Check the label on your yarn, it usually recommends a hook size that works best with it.
Take your time. Learning crochet is a process. It might feel slow at first, especially when figuring out where to insert your hook or how to pull the yarn through. That’s totally normal!
