DIY Knitting Kit Sky Top and Skirt

This is a wonderful summer set to knit and use at a party, to go to the beach, or even in your daily life. You can use the top and the skirt together, or you can combine each piece with other garments, resulting in different looks. It was designed by Isabel Nascimento from Companhia das Agulhas in Portugal, for our Somen yarn. Somen is a wonderful blend of recycled cotton and linen, and really soft to knit. So just grab your needles, check your gauge, decide your size, and knit! The pattern is available in size XS with extra instructions for sizes S, M, L, and XL.

This kit contains:

• 350 (400, 500, 600, 600)g Somen (photo in Abisso)
• XS (S, M, L, XL)
• Online Patterns in English (UK), Dutch, German, Spanish and French*

You will also need:

• Circular knitting needles 3.5 and 4 mm, 80 cm needle chord
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers

Measurements: See Chart (measurements are for finished garment laying flat)

Gauge:

18 sts and 25 rows – 10x10 cm in stocking stitch using 4,5 mm needles, washed and blocked (it is important to wash and dry the swatch because the stitch count can change after washing it for the first time).
